How to Construct a Lemonade Stand?
Reuse old pallets and crates to construct a traditional lemonade stand! It can be used as a drink station for your forthcoming backyard party or install in the front area and allow the kids to earn some pocket money.
Tools required to construct a lemonade stand
- Mini crowbar
- Measuring tape
- Circular saw
- 1” detail paintbrush
- Orbital sander with small-grit sanding pads
- Nail gun
- Hammer
Step 1: Gather pallets from salvage yards or local retailers.
Step 2: Keep one pallet aside as it will be used as a base. Remove the rusty nails. Make use of a crowbar to remove the structural supports and wood slats from other pallets.
Step 3: Now, you need to smooth the rough corners of the pallets. It is recommended to use an orbital sander for smoothening the rough edges and removing the splinters.
Step 4: Create structural footers by adding a discarded 6” wooden plank. It should be fixed vertically to the pallet. Tighten using the nail gun.
Step 5: Create vertical posts for holding the lemonade stand sign up. You can attach the posts with the help ofanail gun.
Step 6: Take perpendicular plywood and place it above the shipping pallet. You need to tighten it using the nail gun.
Step 7: Cut and trial fit plywood signboard
